Well . . . I am thoroughly freaked out. I've come across a couple articles lately talking about this socialintelligencehr company that provides social media background checks on potential job applicants. While I feel like I'm a good candidate for most any job that I would apply to, I'm not sure I would pass this kind of background check. An status update, tweet, or picture I've posted would be fair game for review. Bummer.
I guess I will have to hope that the HR personnel reviewing my application belongs to AdultFriendFinder too.

This is ridiculous. It is HOT . . . damn hot. I've decided to go without clothes until the heat index drops below 93. This could make going to the grocery store a bit awkward. I guess I will just have something delivered.

Working up a sweat . . .

I had a nice workout before my shift. The bright sun called me out for some outdoor play. Rather than my usual routine at the gym, I decided to sweat it out in the humidity.
It was a good workout, a lot of huffing and puffing by the time I was done. I thought about taking my shirt off and feeling the wind across my chest, but felt a bit self conscious about it. Not sure why.
I like to watch people and always wonder what leads them to make the clothing decisions they make. For example, there is a long legged vixen at my gym that you can count on to wear shorts that some of my t-shirts would extend past. Being the heterosexual male that I am, it does not bother me one bit. But it does make me wonder . . . is she doing this just to look good while in the company of others . . . are her shorty shorts that much more comfortable to work out in than something two inches longer . . . does she have some sort of skin condition that requires constant exposure to ambient air . . . is it purely to seek attention . . . can she only afford the one pair of shorts from when she was in junior high?
While I shouldn't really care what others think, I don't want to offend anyone either. I have a decent body. I'm not going to be on the cover of a magazine, but I feel okay about being topless at the beach. How self conscious should I be about taking my shirt off while jogging? What do you think of a guy you see jogging on the side of the road with bouncing pecs? Do you jog topless? If so, I hope to see that image on HNW.

Beauty and lawn care . . .

Why can't weeds make for an attractive lawn? It would be so much easier and I would have one of the finer yards in town. And this got me to thinking about the subjective nature of beauty. Sure there are some universal attributes that are attractive to everyone. Facial symmetry for example. Then there are those attributes that are more subjective and give clues to potentially other attractive qualities. For example, there was a time in which extremely fair skin was deemed attractive. Now it is more common for tanned skin to be deemed more attractive.
So, why is my weed infested lawn not socially "attractive"? What does a perfectly manicured weedless lawn say about a person? What does my lawn say about me?
The picture above is not really my lawn. Perhaps, I will take a picture of my lawn sometime and create another poll.

So, I've been watching AdultFriendFinder women on cam lately. Many are incredibly sexy and lean toward the kinkier side of the spectrum.
This got me to thinking, these people have to do some grocery shopping some time. Could they be at my local supermarket and I don't even know it? Should I be approaching the sexy vixen comparing prices of toilet paper in aisle 5? Should I chat up the lovely mother of two debating between apples or cherries? Perhaps, I should just post up near the Top Ramen soups and wait.
Seriously though, has anyone been approached while doing their daily chores?
One of my best hook-ups occurred with someone I met at a coffee shop. It did take a little more than just a wink and a smile though.

I've been lurking on this website long enough. I've browsed the chat rooms, IM'd a bit, and read many a blog. There is only so much one can do as a basic member.
I doubt I have anything new to add to the many blogs on this site. So, why am I starting another one? Perhaps it is to fulfill a longing for attention. Or maybe my narcissistic ego feels the world (or the AdultFriendFinder audience) needs to hear my slant on life. Or maybe I have too much free time on my hands. Who knows? Let's just see where this road goes.
