Nice post. One in five has it, as do I. And I post it. I would never want to harm anyone. I hated having to divulge it, but I hate more harming and deceiving someone. I was surprised at the men who are so nice about it. I thought no one will even talk to me, but I was wrong. And yes, I also hate that clean word. There are worse stds one can get. I also see men here who have it yet don’t mention it. But, maybe they prefer to divulge it in private but then, some may not divulge it at all, which is low. So, yes, the old post that they are std frre carries little weight. My exposure was not some random guy on a sex site. He was a long term that I trusted. No one is totally immune, unless they are celibate. Thanks for the post.

I am truly surprised that you did not get more comments on this subject. It was openly presented and honest. Makes me wonder about the quality of the folks on here and question honesty.

interesting topic and one that is avoided by most on here. I had some questions about HSV2 with my Doc back a few years ago. He told me he refuses to test for it because he regards it as non life threating disease. He also told me that many feel its more like 50% or more have it. A friend of mine has it so I have done some research on it. Not sure treating it is the best long term approach.

As far as I know I don't have it, but you having it not stop me from a sexual encounter if I was attracted to you, we would just have to use the preventive measures to insure I didn't get it and to insure I didn't pass anything I have and are unaware about to you.
