wasn't me that wrote this...……..

but yes, I must admit.....there is something in us all that calls for home but never finds it as we remember it. perhaps we've grown past the ability to be present in that way we had back then, lost our shadows like Peter Pan.

You cannot conceive the many without the one.

I had this urge when I went to Denver Co to visit my old neighborhood and see my childhood home. Big Mistake. All my memories- yep I still have them tucked away- were tarnished by what had happened to the physical house.

This theme of going home...your post is the second one I've read.

My mom still lives in the house where I was raised. But once I moved out, home was where I was. I've never had that comfortable feeling there since I left. Sometimes I still think I'm looking for home...
